Santa sleigh break in leaves Father Christmas visits in doubt

Moseley Round Table have been left devastated after a break in of their sleigh saw chocolates and an iPod stolen.

The group, who are running two weeks worth of Santa sleigh visits, discovered the theft which they believed happened in the early hours of Thursday morning (10th December 2015).

In a post on their Facebook page, the group said,

"BREAKING NEWS: In the early hours of this morning Santa's sleigh vehicle was broken into Kings Heath. Most of the Kids Chocolates we taken as well as Santas iPod for playing the Christmas music. We are all now desperately rallying around to make sure we can carry on with our collections. We won't let them win!!! Thanks all for your continued support."

Table Chairman Gavin said, "We’re doing the sleigh collections for two weeks this year, which started on Monday. We’ve had three wonderful nights so far raising in excess for £1200.

With the break in, it will affect how we operate. Currently we do not have any chocolates to give to the children or an iPod to play our Christmas music.

We’re currently running around desperately trying to replace these things so we can carry on operating. We don’t want to let the children down”.

Moseley Round Table will continue to update people on the situation through their Facebook page.
