Tamworth Round Table have announced the launch of their inaugural Beer and Cider Festival this August and you’re invited.
The Table are working alongside The Moat House pub in Tamworth, where the festival running from August 10th-13th, will take place.
The Table Chairman, Matt Cann, said: “The Tamworth Round Table Beer and Cider Festival event is the first of its kind in Tamworth”.
“With other Round Tables across the country enjoying incredible success with these festivals, we felt it was time the people of Tamworth got a Round Table beer and cider festival of their own, with money raised going right back into the Tamworth community.”
The event will also feature family fun entertainment with large inflatables as well as food planned over the three days. An entrance fee to the festival will be charged at the door with attendees getting a glass and tokens to buy the beers and ciders on offer.
The Moat House owner, Martin Young said “We are proud to be working with Tamworth Round Table to help them launch their first beer and cider festival. We have big plans for the four-day event and think it will be something to remember”.
Tamworth Table are well known throughout the community for their fundraising and community work including renovating the bedroom of a terminally ill child, organised trips to a theme park for children with life altering illnesses and most recently for hosting the Tamworth Community Awards.
Local businesses are getting involved through sponsorship of the beers. With the opportunity for businesses to be part of the planned event through sponsorship of a keg for just £50.
